I decided to ink the edges of the red layer with white ink...bad idea! I had so much ink on it, that I had to let it sit and dry for hours, even then it was 'smudgable'. Live and learn!
Before I go, I want to alert you to a giveaway! My friend over on the PTI forum, Jen, makes these great button & bead rings and she is giving one away on her blog, so be sure to stop HERE and check it out!
Can't believe tomorrow is already Friday! Hope you're having a fantastic week!

Anika, I love this CAS card and how my eye is drawn right to the blue star... thanks so much for participating in my HEC! :)
Fabulous patriotic card!
This is wonderful! I do like the look of the white ink on the edges. It was worth it!
Ooooh! I've been seeing stars all week and love 'em! I like the inked edges but I know what you mean about the mess...and your card below is pretty too! I love how you used the flourish for the path of that butterfly!
Anika this is adorable! Love the layout and the way you added the ribbon. Everytime I see a card using Star Prints I wish I owned that set. Can't wait to meet you at CHA!
Gotta Love the red white and blue!
Great job with Ted's Challenge!! Love the card and the patriotic theme!! Thanks for mentioning my giveaway too!
Love your card! Everything about it is fabulous.
This is fabulous! So striking and the colours are REALLY rich! I love the stars shadowed on the red, with the blue one as the focal point! Gorgeous!
"Simply" beautiful, Anika! I love a good CAS card and this is lovely!

Wow that blue star pops right off the card! Simply stunning card Anika.
